Budman Island is a one-man-band Virtual Ad Agency buried beneath a Tiki Bar in South Minneapolis. There could be worse places to end up.

I come from Radio (1974-1977), Broadcast Television Production (1977-1986), Business–to-Business Television Production (1986–2002) and full-service Advertising and Promotion. I've had plenty of highs and lows, awards and commendations along the way.

At one time or another I've written, produced or directed all forms of communication to consumers, corporations and captive audiences.

I've been a news copywriter, a copy editor, and a reporter. Spent time as a producer of broadcast television and radio in both syndicated and local programming.

I've been and still am a director, screenwriter, voice talent and actor. I've produced web, audio, slide shows, power-points, sales videos, motivational videos, training videos and my share of comedy holiday party reels.

I have written, produced and directed hundreds of television commercials, infomercials and radio ads.

I've appeared in several comedy shorts and was a member of HEAD CHEESE, a local Minneapolis, comedy radio group way back in the late seventies. So, yeah, I've been around and have some perspective.
